These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of commercial and industrial cleaning services (“Services”) by GC Cleaning (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to you (“Client”, “you”, or “your”). By engaging our Services, submitting a quote request, or signing an agreement, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
All cleaning jobs are performed based on the specific agreement signed by both parties, including the scope of work, pricing, schedule, and duration outlined at the time of signing.
1. Services Provided
GC Cleaning provides specialised commercial cleaning services including office cleaning, deep cleans, strata and body corporate maintenance, and industrial cleaning across South East Queensland. Services are performed by our trained, licensed, and insured team using professional equipment.
The exact scope, frequency, and locations of Services will be detailed in your signed service agreement or quote acceptance.
2. Quotes and Pricing
- Quotes are provided free of charge following site inspection or consultation.
- Pricing is based on the site condition at the time of quoting. Significant changes in site condition or scope may require price adjustment.
- All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing for additional services requested outside the agreed scope.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment terms are specified in your signed service agreement (typically 7-30 days from invoice date).
- Invoices are issued weekly, fortnightly, or monthly as agreed.
- Overdue accounts may incur interest at 1.5% per month and additional collection costs.
- We accept bank transfer, credit card, or direct debit.
4. Scheduling and Access
- Services will be performed at the times and dates specified in your signed agreement.
- You agree to provide safe, unobstructed access to all areas requiring cleaning, including utilities (electricity, water, rubbish bins).
- If access is not provided without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the scheduled service fee.
- Any delays caused by the Client may result in rescheduling and additional fees.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide a safe working environment free from hazards.
- Inform us of any special requirements, security protocols, or restricted areas.
- Secure valuables and fragile items before cleaning.
- Maintain the site in reasonable condition between scheduled services.
- Not direct our staff to perform tasks outside the agreed scope.
6. Our Responsibilities
We agree to:
- Perform Services with professional care using eco-friendly products and equipment.
- Maintain public liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
- Employ trained, police-checked, and uniformed staff.
- Complete Services within the agreed timeframe and budget.
7. Cancellations and Changes
- Regular services require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation. Late notice incurs a 50% service fee.
- One-off services require 7 days’ notice or 50% fee applies.
- Scope changes must be agreed in writing with potential price adjustment.
8. Termination
- Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice as per your signed agreement.
- We may terminate immediately for non-payment, unsafe conditions, or breach of terms.
- You remain liable for all Services performed up to termination date.
9. Liability and Insurance
- Our liability is limited to the value of Services provided in the 30 days prior to any claim.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or Client-supplied equipment failure.
- All work is fully insured, but you must report issues within 24 hours of service completion.
10. Complaints and Disputes
- Report any concerns within 24 hours via phone or email.
- We aim to resolve issues within 48 hours.
- Unresolved disputes will follow Australian Consumer Law mediation processes.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather, strikes, or government restrictions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
